As a full-time freelance content strategist for Olivia for two years, I established the voice, tone, and content of their new website; managed the content inventory; supported partnership development; wrote all subscriber and prospect emails, enewsletters, direct mail, travel catalogs, video scripts, welcome letters, onboard marketing materials, events materials, etc.; and ghost wrote letters from the founder and CEO, the VP of travel, and letters from our partner entertainers including the Indigo Girls, Melissa Etheridge, and k.d. lang.
As a content strategist for Olivia, I was contracted to establish the voice and tone of the new content (samples available), manage the content inventory (samples available), and write all the content of their new website.
As a member of the Creative Services Team, I contributed to the concepting and development of many campaigns including the 35th anniversary trip series which included a full-scale marketing campaign with print, web, PPT, and video elements. I wrote and co-produced a 15-minute video documenting the 35-year history of the company’s evolution from a music production house to a travel company in the context of the women’s music movement. I then directed comedian/activist Kate Clinton in the sound studio on voice-over narration. (Script sample available.)
As a member of the marketing team I crafted pitches for business development, partnership development, and marketing campaigns. I also wrote and edited the credit card application content, the creative team campaign concepts for the VISA/Olivia Rewards program, and the Women of the World Travel Rewards program.
